Return to ISTA Elite Teams

ISTA Thunder Women’s Elite Team

The ISTA NAL program is designed to provide an intensive summer training and playing opportunity for current college athletes and aspiring college bound players to prepare physically, technically and mentally for their upcoming fall season.
The program also provides an opportunity to players who have finished their college playing career but strive to continue competing at a high level.
Players will be able to train and compete on elite teams and leagues while away from their respective schools.
The objective is to unite players from a variety of different colleges and universities, and to offer a training environment that provides challenges, knowledge, intensity and strategic skill.

National Women’s Adult League

The National Adult League Division for women in the United States will kick off in summer 2013. This will provide top-level competition for college-bound, collegiate and high-level players throughout the country, with regional divisions offering qualification for a national championship, and local play for teams simply looking to get on the field during the summer months.

General Information

  • Age: 18-35
  • Gender: Women
  • Timeframe: May 15 through July 31. This summer timeframe coincides with the collegiate offseason and allows players to prepare for the return to preseason, offering continued development opportunities during the summer. For non-college players, eventual plans include year-round play.  Training session days will be announced in the beginning of May.
  • Structure: Summer season includes 8 regular-season games with a Premier Final Play-off. Teams have the ability of advancing to a regional and national championship.  Our overall goal is to create a semi-pro team by 2014.
